Product information

Product description
16-colour multicolour printing. 600mm/s speeds. A heated chamber that actually stops warping. The Creality K2 Combo brings flagship-level 3D printing tech into a compact, desk-friendly footprint — built for makers, small studios, and businesses who want professional results without professional-sized hardware.
Why the K2 Combo
- Multicolour out of the box — comes with the Creality Filament System (CFS), printing up to 4 colours instantly. Add up to 3 more CFS units later for 16-colour prints, no extra printer needed.
- Genuinely fast — 600mm/s max print speed with 20,000mm/s² acceleration, powered by 3 step-servo motors on the extruder and X/Y axes. Prints that took hours now take a fraction of the time, without the usual speed-vs-quality trade-off.
- Engineering materials, not just PLA — an actively heated chamber (up to 60°C) keeps ABS, ASA, and PA-CF from warping and cracking, something open-frame printers in this price range simply can't do.
- Smart enough to watch itself — dual AI cameras monitor the print bed and extruder in real time, catching spaghetti failures, filament tangles, and flow issues before they ruin a print.
- Quiet — dynamically balanced fans keep noise down to laptop-typing levels, so it can sit on your desk, not banished to the garage.
Built for real work, not just hobby prints
The K2 Combo's frame uses die-cast, aerospace-grade aluminium alloy with a fully enclosed chamber — rigid enough to hold tight tolerances at high speed, and enclosed enough to keep temperature-sensitive prints stable from first layer to last. A flexible, removable magnetic build plate makes part removal simple, and full-auto bed levelling and calibration mean you're printing minutes after unboxing, not hours into setup.
The all-metal direct drive extruder runs a 0.4mm steel-tipped tri-metal nozzle rated to 300°C, paired with a heated bed up to 100°C — enough headroom for PLA, ABS, PETG, PET, ASA, PLA-CF, and PA-CF without hunting for workarounds. Layer heights from 0.05–0.3mm give you the range to go from fast functional prints to fine-detail finished pieces on the same machine.
Multicoloured, simplified
The included CFS handles up to 4 spools at once, with RFID recognition that automatically identifies Creality filament — no manual material setup. An automated filament cutter handles clean colour changes mid-print, so multi-colour models come out the way they looked on screen, not the way they usually come out of a budget multicolour setup.
Who it's for
Makers and cosplayers who want clean multicoloured parts without post-print painting. Small businesses prototyping functional parts in ABS or ASA. Studios and schools that need one reliable machine instead of juggling several. If you've outgrown a budget single-colour printer and don't want to jump straight to an industrial-priced machine, this is the step up.

Frequently asked questions
Is the CFS multicolour unit included, or sold separately?
Included. The K2 Combo ships with one CFS unit, ready for up to 4-colour printing straight out of the box. Want more colours? Additional CFS units (sold separately) take you up to 16 colours, 3 more max per printer.
What filament should I start with?
PLA is the easiest starting point and works without any chamber heating. Once you're comfortable, the heated chamber and 300°C nozzle open the door to PETG, ABS, and ASA for stronger, more heat-resistant parts.
Do I need the CFS to use the printer, or can I print single-colour without it?
The K2 prints perfectly fine single-colour without the CFS connected — it's an add-on for multicolour, not a requirement for normal printing.
Is this suitable for a beginner?
Yes. Full-auto bed levelling and calibration mean it's ready to print shortly after unboxing, with no manual tuning required to get a clean first layer.
Can it print materials like nylon or carbon-fibre filament?
Yes — the 300°C nozzle and heated chamber support PLA-CF and PA-CF (carbon-fibre and nylon blends) alongside standard materials, making it suitable for stronger functional parts.
