Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy applies to all purchases of technological goods and brand partner services made through our website or online platforms and is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. Cooling-Off Period (CPA – Online Purchases)
In terms of the CPA, customers may cancel an online transaction within 7 days of receiving the goods, provided that:
· The goods are unused, unopened, and in original packaging
· The goods are in a resalable condition
· Proof of purchase is provided
· All products must be returned in original condition including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
2. Faulty, Defective, or Unsafe Goods
If goods are defective, unsafe, or not functioning as intended:
· The issue must be reported within 7 days of delivery
· The product must be returned with all original accessories and packaging
· Nova Line Technologies reserves the right to inspect and test the item
In accordance with the CPA, we may offer:
· Repair
· Replacement
· Refund
The remedy will be selected at our discretion unless otherwise required by law.
3. Incorrect or Damaged Deliveries
If an incorrect or damaged item is received:
· Notification must be made within 48 hours of delivery
· Supporting evidence (photos/videos) may be requested
· Failure to report within this period may result in rejection of the claim
4. Non-Returnable & Excluded Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable, unless proven defective:
· Software, digital products, activation keys, or licenses once issued or activated
· Custom-ordered, special-order, or personalised products
· Opened consumables or products with broken seals
· Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, power surges, or unauthorised repairs
· Consumables are non-refundable.
5. Assessment & Rejection of Returns
All returned goods are subject to inspection. Nova Line Technologies reserves the right to reject a return or refund if:
· The product shows signs of use, damage, or tampering
· Packaging or accessories are missing
· The return does not meet CPA requirements
· The issue is due to customer misuse or external factors
Rejected items may be returned to the customer at their cost.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be:
· Issued via the original payment method
· Processed within 7–14 business days
· Subject to deductions such as a handling fee of 20%, testing, or restocking where legally permissible.
· If unopened goods are returned within 14 days, you will receive a refund excluding transport costs.
Refund timelines may vary depending on banks or payment providers.
Please note that if your item/s are returned and do not contain the entire package that was shipped out, you will not receive a credit.
7. Order Cancellations (Before Dispatch)
Orders may only be cancelled if:
· The order has not yet been dispatched
· A written cancellation request is received and acknowledged by Nova Line Technologies
Once dispatched, the order is subject to the Returns Policy.
8. Brand Partner Services & Professional Services
All brand partner services, consulting, installation, or technology services are governed by the following:
· Services are non-refundable once work has commenced
· Commencement includes planning, sourcing, licensing, onboarding, or partner engagement
· Cancellations must be submitted in writing prior to commencement
· Partial refunds are not guaranteed and will only be considered if agreed in writing
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
Unauthorised chargebacks may be disputed. Customers agree to:
· Contact Nova Line Technologies first to resolve disputes
· Provide reasonable opportunity for resolution before initiating a chargeback
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Line Technologies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from returned goods, cancellations, or service termination.
11. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to South African courts.
